Foundation

Bastos Juntas was founded in 1989 in the Quintino Cunha neighborhood of Fortaleza, Ceará, born from the entrepreneurial vision of Joaquim Bastos and his brothers, Océlio and Moacir. What began as an artisanal operation—producing transmission gaskets in their own home—launched a journey defined by hard work, precision, and a commitment to the automotive sector. From the very beginning, the company built its foundation on a clear purpose: to provide reliable sealing solutions for those who sell, install, and rely on quality in every engine.
